BMESkates is a sports competition and cultural event. This event is for all individuals who shortly would like to reach a higher level in the sport. BME loves the competition and the feeling of winning.  Skating is becoming more interesting and fun than ever.

Skating is no longer a child game that we see on the streets, or in the park; nowadays the sport has grown to professional stages.

There are not many competitions for the amateur in our area, especially in our amazing Flushing Meadows Corona Skate Park. This is why BME wanted to create a new competition for our community and our amateur youth. Skateboarding is beginning to earn respect, as professional athletes are receiving greater recognition.

BMESkates event is not only a competition for skateboarding, but it will also include a scooter, BMX, and inline skates performance. So if you love the sport of skateboarding, scooter, BMX, and inline skate; register to participate in the appropriate category.

Special Participation For Children

During the early morning, we will have the children’s competition.

Please bring water, food, a chair, and a friend.

For children 10 and under, registration is FREE, (Please use the discount coupon code CHILD and press the button Apply Coupon).

Children will be required to either do a short routine or the best trick.

9:00 am – 11:30 am Children competition followed by the Cultural Ceremony.

1:00 pm – 5:30 pm Open competition (Best Trick): Scooter, Skateboard, BMX, and Inline Skate.

Who can participate?

Any individual between the ages of 5 to 99 years old can participate. Some competitors are required to wear protective gear, please read the contest’s rules.
